Summary

Legendary is in search of a Director/Manager, Credit Administration to manage the credit process in the features production department. This position will focus on the management process of ensuring and adhering to all contractual requirements and obligations.

Responsibilities

Create Main Titles/Main on Ends (MoEs) documents based off of rights & talent contracts and various long-form agreements.
Create Paid Ads Memo & Billing block based on all contractual obligations.
Create Ad-Pub Restrictions Summary for cast based on contractual obligations.
Manage End Crawl credits adhering to Legendary’s official template, vet names against deal memos and long-form contracts to ensure proper titles and spelling.
Ensure End Crawl Credits meet all incentive & contractual vendor obligations.
Coordinate credit waivers and approvals with the WGA, DGA, PGA, and SAG-AFTRA as well as working executives to ensure credits accurately represent both contractual and union requirements.
For legacy projects check all Rights & Producer contracts to ensure all obligations are met.
Circulate and track notes from Studio Executives & Filmmakers from the beginning of post through delivery on all documents.
Maintain Studio Database tracking all drafts for each project.
Work with Business Affairs to ensure all obligations with partner studios & distributors are met.
Deliver all required documents and elements to distributing partners that correspond to the respective agreements.
Ad hoc projects as necessary.

Requirements

BA/BS degree required
Minimum of 4-5 years experience working as a credit administrator on major feature films, network television series, and/or cable television networks preferred
Paralegal/Contract Administration experience is a plus but not required
In-depth knowledge of the WGA, DGA, SAG-AFTRA rules and regulations as they relate to on-screen and on-line credits and paid advertising
Excellent knowledge of WGA, DGA, SAG-AFTRA contractual requirements
Working knowledge of different credit formats used by other film and television companies, credit history, and trends within the motion picture, streaming services, and pay cable industries
Familiarity with the credit provisions of both U.S. and international film unions and guilds is required
Excellent proofreading, editing, and research skills are a plus, specifically Microsoft Word & Excel
Familiarity with Box.com
Ability to analyze and interpret contracts
Strong industry relationships
